TAMAN SARI

Taman Sari means beautiful garden. Approximately 10 minutes' walk from the Palace Sultan southwest. Built by Sultan Hamengku bowono I in 1757. Built by combining styles Potugisa and Java. Taman Sari yore is a beautiful water garden and mutakhir.Area until the crossroad between the southeastern city park called the Village of yore Segaran filled with water. This area is now called Suryoputran. Segaran derived from the Javanese word that means an artificial sea.
