TAMAN SARI

Taman Sari means beautiful garden. Approximately 10 minutes' walk from the Palace Sultan southwest. Built by Sultan Hamengku bowono I in 1757. Built by combining styles Potugisa and Java. Taman Sari yore is a beautiful water garden and mutakhir.Area until the crossroad between the southeastern city park called the Village of yore Segaran filled with water. This area is now called Suryoputran. Segaran derived from the Javanese word that means an artificial sea. Each of the Sultan visited the park, he was there with a canoe paddle across a suspension bridge called the Hanging Kreteg located in front of the palace gates, north or south region Kemandungan.

Kaliurang point of view
